Teen Workers must be 14 years old by the start of the summer, and entering 9th grade or higher. This is a part work program. One week they will work on grounds, usually in one of our lunch areas. They will help in preparation, service, clean up, and all other aspects surrounding our lunch service. The opposite week, they will be members of our TNT program, where they will go on full day trips as a member of the teen group. The teen workers work hard, and will get their hands dirty, but will have a good time in the process. This is the first step to employment at Merrick Woods, and usually leads to first crack at the CIT positions next summer.
