| The Langbart family grew up at Merrick Woods. Marsha
and Jack have owned five different camps before deciding to concentrate
all of their efforts exclusively on Merrick Woods. Owen, Andy, Adam, and
Amy, have been campers, Top Notch Teens, counselors, group leaders and now
key administrators here. They devote their energies to Merrick Woods on
a full time, year round basis. Each summer, they are joined by dozens of
other families who have worked here for many years and whose children have
and still are growing up at Merrick Woods. |

 Children
have different needs and interests and our goal is to bring out the best
in everyone. We believe in team work and we especially encourage input from
parents and children. At Merrick Woods, there is always someone to talk
to who can make things better. We are here for you!
Most of the fine young men and women who are on our staff are familiar faces
at Merrick Woods. Many started as campers here and worked their way up through
the ranks. They are joined by motivated, well trained, experienced individuals
who share a dedication to be positive, enthusiastic role models with this
strong commitment: If there is anything that we can do to make your child's
summer experience more productive, more meaningful and more fun, we will
