Counselors in Training, or CITs, must be entering the 10th grade
in September. They will be assigned to work in either a specialty area
or in a group. Their work will generally encompass assisting the counselors
in the daily activities surrounding their individual assignment. They
will have a chance to play and participate with the children in a full
range of activities. There will be three late nights as part of the
CIT program. These will encompass a training session, use of the Merrick
Woods facilities (without other children) , and an evening trip or inter-camp.
CITs work hard, have fun, and can truly help make a difference.
