Miss Kathy and Miss Maria
Room 11 has been out investigating the signs of Fall. We
have been taking walks and using our senses to find the many signs of
the season. Some of the findings have been:
Sight – the many colors and shapes of the leaves, and the squirrels
collecting nuts for the winter.
Sound – the wind blowing in the air.
Touch – the crunchy fallen leaves. We also noticed that the air
has gotten cooler.
While out on the walks, we collected many leaves, nuts, and twigs. We
then brought them inside and created “Fall Creatures.” The
body was the leaf, the head was an acorn, and the arms and legs were the
twigs. Everyone created a different looking creature with the many different
leaves that were collected.
