Miss Carol and Miss Jessica
In honor of Children’s Book Week, our Kindergarten
Enrichment class re-created the story Cookie’s Week,
by Cindy Ward, into a Big Book. Each child was responsible for coloring
a page in the book. The class then presented their book to all the children
at Merrick Woods. Miss Carol’s class added a special “twist”
to their version – they added the days of the week in Spanish!!
After reading their book to the other classes, the children sang the Days
of the Week song to them in both English and Spanish.
