Miss Donna, Miss Denise
With the holiday season upon us, each child in Room 5 was busy making a present and wrapping paper for their Mom and Dad. As part of the festivities, children also enjoyed making toy soldiers with red, white and blue shapes. We introduced our Science Unit, “Music and Sound,” by playing different holiday music. Marching hats were prepared for each child to be used in a special march. We sized the children up in height order and marched around the room like the toy soldiers from Radio City Music Hall. We then lined them up and proceeded to fall back into each other’s arms as the soldiers do on the stage. The children had a ball.
