Miss Barbara, Miss Blake
The children in Room 6 Music Enrichment class had some Cinco de Mayo fun!
We sang and danced to the Los Lobos CD, "Papa’s Dream",
and enjoyed salsa and chips with our lunch. We read Fiesta!, a book about
children getting ready for a party by making a piñata. The children
in the book count to ten in Spanish and we counted along with them. As a
culmination of our celebration, we made our own piñata and had a
great time breaking it open!
