In room 14 we enjoyed a fire truck snack after learning all
about fire safety. The children also sang a special song to help them learn
about the importance of not playing with lighters, matches, or candles.
(Timmy added the candle verse) Firetruck Cookies- Need: Graham crackers,
butter knife, plastic butter knives, frosting tinted red, small black creme
cookies. First, take out a whole foursquare graham cracker cookie. Gently
press the upper left corner of the first square to cut it off. This creates
the fire truck's angle. Then let the children spread red frosting all over
the graham cracker. Separate one chocolate creme cookie. Then place the
cookie halves at the bottom of the cracker, creating wheels. Enjoy!!!
