Apples took center stage in Room 8 this week as we did a variety of activities related to the apple. After listening to the story of Johnny Appleseed, the children weighed and measured their apples. We used the balance scale to see how many teddy bears it takes to lift one apple. Our heaviest apple weighed as much as 60 teddy bears!!
