Our Pumpkin Trip
Just sit right back
And you can be
On our mid morning trip
To Hicks Nursery
On Thursday our class
Had the best time,
Choosing pumpkins
That cost more than a dime
The look on our faces
When the animals were near
Was priceless when a baa
From a sheep we did hear.
On Friday, more children
Came along for the ride
To pick beautiful pumpkins
And from Otto, hide!
We ended the day
With the nicest pumpkins ever seen.
And are hoping they last
Until Halloween.
