Miss Donna and Miss Denise
In the month of September, Room 5 enjoyed a special unit on colors. The class was first introduced to the primary colors - red, blue and yellow. Each child had the opportunity to paint on our easel with these special colors. The following week the class was broken up into 3 groups. Each group was going to try to create secondary colors using play dough. In the following pictures, you will see children enjoying the lesson while they create orange from red and yellow, green from yellow and blue, and purple from blue and red. Notice each table creating a different color. The class was then given play dough toys to play with their new colors.
