We have been very busy getting ready for our first Thanksgiving,
sharing with all our friends. In preparation for our feasts, the children
have been making Pilgrim hats and Indian headdresses. We also have been
making many turkeys with our hands. The children love to have their hands
painted.
The children have made cornbread, stuffing and, most importantly, real
butter from heavy cream. They really enjoyed shaking that cream in a
container with marbles in it. They got to taste it in all of its different
forms as it went from a liquid into a solid. That was so delicious! Have
a Happy Thanksgiving!!
