Miss Iris and Miss Maria
This month, the music enrichment class has been working
on Native American culture for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had lots
of fun working on different crafts, reading stories, listening to authentic
Native American music, and creating our own totempole.
We invited all the classes to view our “dream catchers” and
to dance around the totem pole. The children enjoyed learning about the
different symbols on the totem pole and
then listening to the story that went along with each symbol.
