100 days of friends, 100 days of fun, 100 days of school has finally begun.
We have been preparing from the first day of school for the 100th day
to come. Now that our special day has arrived, we celebrated by counting
to 100 by 5’s and 10’s. As we wore the 100th day crowns we
created, we baked a cake with 100 M&M’s on it. The class enjoyed
reading the book, Miss Bindergarten celebrates the 100th Day, by Joseph
State. After reading the story, each child presented their 100th day collection.
It was entertaining and interesting. The best part of the 100 day activities
was making necklaces strung with 100 pieces of cereal. Did you know that
10 groups of 10 equal 100? We are sad that the 100th day of school is
over, but now we can start the count down to our Graduation Day!
