HOORAY, IT’S FINALLY THE 100th DAY OF SCHOOL !!!!!Since we began counting to the 100th day of school, we could hardly wait for this day to arrive. Now the wait is finally over and our celebration begins. One of the things we learned is that 100 is 10 groups of 10. So we decided to have fun with 10 different activities to celebrate our 100th day of school:
1. Create a picture or design using 10 different colored markers
2. Connect the dots counting by 10’s to 100, and create a special picture
3. Complete a special math worksheet showing 10 groups of 10 items
4. Make a pattern using 10 counting cubes
5. Try to pick up 10 paper clips with a magnet
6. Toss 10 beanbags into a bucket
7. Hop on your left foot 5 times, then hop on your right foot 5 times
8. Do 10 jumping jacks
9. Build something using 10 blocks
10. Enjoy a snack of 10 things
The children had a great time celebrating the 100th day of school!!
