Miss Debbie and Miss Annette
Room 14 celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day by making
a friendship snack. The children took a black and white cookie, split
it in half, added pretzel sticks for the arms and legs, and food gel for
the eyes, nose and mouth. We discussed with the children how everyone,
no matter what their color, can be friends. Of course the best part was
getting to eat our pretzel people.
