Miss Carol and Miss Jessica
Each child in Kindergarten Enrichment created a special Valentine’s
Day “gift” for their family. First, the children’s hands
were painted white. Then they placed their handprints on a red paper heart.
They also colored a picture of themselves and got to show-off their writing
skills, as well. The following poem was attached to this project:
Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But every day I’m growing –
I’ll be grown up someday
And all those tiny fingerprints
Will surely fade away.
So here’s a final handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.
