By “renewing, reusing, and recycling,” the children learned
how to take care of the earth in celebration of Earth Day. They also looked
pretty darn cute in their “recycled” hats at our Earth Day
parade! A fitting culmination to “Project Earth” was creating
a gigantic “rain forest” at Merrick Woods. Each class made
a large rain stick, and then made it “rain” while listening
to the sounds of the rain forest during the parade.
Take care of the earth…… and in return, it will take care
of us.
