THIRSTY FLOWERS
In Room 11 we examined how flowers get their water. The children used
a straw to drink orange water out of a cup. We then compared how we get
water out of a cup to how flowers get their water. We then took white
flowers and put them in blue water and we observed each day to see if
the flowers turned blue. The children were amazed to see the flowers turn
blue because of the water.
