Spring is here and Room 5 is blossoming from the beautiful painted windows that the class designed.
Yes we are all very excited, and to show our excitement each child was given the opportunity to participate in painting a spring display. As you can see, our A.M. class enjoyed creating their very own flowers, butterflies and rainbows on our windows. This activity began as each child helped create "spring colors" from the original colors by mixing white paint to each. The children were then directed to a window to create and design their very own picture.
As part of our alphabet unit, the P.M. class helped create a beautiful rainbow. Each child was given construction paper to crumble up and create a magnificent three dimensional mural. We titled it “There is no place like Room 5, there is no place like Room 5”. If you look carefully, you can see Dorothy’s ruby slippers on our yellow brick road along with Toto too.
Springtime is always a special time here in Room 5.
