Beautiful Butterflies
In room 14 we have been talking about Spring. We read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. We discussed what happens to a caterpillar; everyone said it becomes a butterfly. Next we made our own beautiful butterflies. First we painted a clothes pin, then we stuffed a bag with tissue paper, and finally we added eyes and antenna. Of course a magnetic strip was added so we could put our butterflies on the refrigerator. Everyone had a beautiful and unique butterfly.
